Surfer, artist, scientist and activist
Directed by Marion Poizeau, “Into the Sea” follows the journey of three women, Irish surfer Easkey, Iranian snowboarder Mona and Iranian diver Shalha as they introduce the sport of surfing to the women in Iran.
The film reveals how surfing is able to break down cultural and gender barriers in the remote desert province of Chabahar, Iran.
The Sea Slugs helped with preparation for the upcoming film tour, as well as took Easkey out for a morning surf session.
